For many years Croydon Art Society have held a late summer exhibition in the lovely surroundings of the Denbies wine estate near Dorking in Surrey. This year I hope to enter two pieces.

UA Members Exhibition 2015
Tomorrow I will be going into London to help with the hanging for the Annual UA Members Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery. This year I have five pictures on show, ‘Cricket’, ‘A New Day’, ‘Thomas Turner Path’, ‘Crossing’, ‘Climbing’. I will also be helping with the stewarding on Tuesday 7th July in the morning if anyone is in town and would like to drop in for a chat. The show is on until the 12th of July.
New Paintings On Show at Stanley Halls
I’ve had a change around of the paintings showing in the wonderful gallery at Stanley Halls in South Norwood. In particular the larger version of ‘Moon Over Stanley’ has gone home for a few months and will be on display alongside other new works such as ‘Climbing’ and ‘Morning People’.
The Halls are open on a slightly ad hoc basis for events so do keep an eye on their website to find out what is on. In particular the ‘Invention Festival’ of performances will be taking place at the halls on 12th/13th June. http://www.stanleyhalls.org.uk/invention-festival/
Croydon Clocktower Exhibition 2015
Royal Marsden, Sutton
The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton works hard to provide a positive and encouraging environment for patients and visitors. They have a very active art programme including a rolling exhibition in the Cherry Tree Restaurant and Café area. From Feb to May the Croydon Art Society will have work on display and I’m very pleased to have two pieces included.
Christmas Exhibition
Following the good reception to my last exhibition in March I will again be showing at the Click Clock Gallery. This time the paintings will be up for the whole month of December and there will be more of them with a whole wall in the back section of the Cafe dedicated to my work. A great place to find a Christmas present for the art lover in your life….. or just for yourself.
Croydon Art Society Annual Exhibition
The Croydon art Society is once again holding its annual group show at the Sun Lounge, Fairfield Halls. I plan to take part again and subject to acceptance will be showing two or three of my Croydon paintings in this years exhibition.
Croydon Art Society Annual Exhibition 2014
These are my entries for this years CAS annual Exhibition which will run at the Sun Lounge, Fairfield Halls from Nov 17th to Nov 29th.
There will be some cards available at the show too and I have a print of Back-Ground available on my shop pages.
UA Members Exhibition at Bankside Gallery
Results are out for the pre-selected works for this year’s UA Members exhibition at the Bankside Gallery on the South Bank. I’m really pleased to have four pictures which will be in this years exhibition space permitting.

Lambeth Open @ Portico Gallery
The Lambeth Open is coming up fast and it’s keeping me busy preparing some new paintings for the event as well as sorting out prints and cards. Again I plan to take a mix of Croydon and non Croydon paintings including a couple of new paintings inspired by this year’s rainy London Pride.
I’m rely looking forward to showing in a new venue and meeting lots of new artists. The work showing on the online gallery is wonderful in its variety always a good sign in my opinion. One of the great things about taking part in events like this is to meet all the other artists and find out how they approach their work.
I’m a bit sad though to be missing the chance of visiting all the studios which will also be open during the weekend. Peeking into someone else’s work space is always good for chatting about techniques and materials.
I will be showing at the Portico Gallery in West Norwood, 4-5th October 10am-6pm alongside a whole host of other exciting artists http://www.lambethopen.com/portico-lower-gallery/
There are also a host of artists and crafts people with open studios that weekend, take a look at http://www.lambethopen.com/ for the map and full details of all participating artists.
